Rebecca Gulinello
Today is Italian national day here in Melbourne. Sharif and I were not only honored to attend this event, but we were asked to dress the beautiful young Opera singer Rebecca Gulinello, who sang the Italian & Australian national anthems.
Rebecca has been accepted into The Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia USA. We wish her all the success. I designed a form fitted, fit and flair gown for Rebecca to show off her amazing curves. Rebecca has that classical Sophia Loren iconic body form. So designing for her was a breeze.
The gown was hand made from embroidered tulle, that was hand formed over a flesh tone silk under gown. The embroidery fell into a sheer skirt with a two meter train. The upper chest area had a sheer tulle layer that had the embroidered work applique onto it. Rebecca herself was the main inspiration for the final creation.
Rebecca is a beautiful person inside and out.
